Going and Going and Going and....

Well it's back to dance class for Aydann after the summer is off. This time around she is not only in the same class as her little friend Julie. BUT Elise and Jordis are in her class as well. Wed afternoon's are exciting for her. Of course she loves Shawna and dance class itself. Having her cousin's there is a plus.
Aydann's first day of preschool was right after labor day. She drove me up a wall the entire day before, she was so excited. Addy is in her class and so far every morning they are thrilled to walk into the building together. She loves preschool so far, not that I didn't think she would. And I think Jax loves that little bit of extra time he gets with mom and dad.
Welcome to the Addy and Aydann show.. These girls crack me up. They proved to Justin that 3 year olds can run, in grass, in pretend high heel -dress up shoes.. while carrying purses FULL of cheap jewelry and wearing huge floppy hats...
I would say someone LOVES Seaseme Street... mostly Elmo and Ernie.. but LOVES it all to a new extreme. This Ernie he is holding usually goes everywhere with him. He is finally over being afraid of the Tickle Me Ernie phase that he was going through. Poor Kid...( I would laugh everytime I heard Ernie giggle and Jax scream, like a girl! ) He has been sitting on the potty already, and had a few successes. He loves being praised for doing something good. I have the best pictures of him and his Dad. Jax has become Justin's shadow, I think it's sweet but get a little but hurt that he prefers his Dad for most things instead of me. Not to worry.. I know it will go back and forth....
Justin and I attended the first LHS football game of the year. Justin's younger cousin Ash's (who is more of a sibling than a cousin) boyfriend Brian is a senior starter. (He plays both offensive and defense) So anyway Justin and I were deamed "TEAM TAYLOR" We enjoy going to supporting Brian, he's a good kid. Eats alot, but still a good kid. ;) Both Ash and Brian graduate this year, so I imagine there will be lots of games and dances and such for pictures. I am actually taking Ashley's senior pic's this week... I have a ton of fun idea's and can't wait.

Tip Toe..Tip Toe...

I decided today that my blog has been more neglected then cleaning the bathroom. (Which isn't completely true, the bathroom isn't THAT bad.) Since I have actually only completed two layout since April I figured that I may "rather be scrapping" it isn't necessarily really how it is. For now. My kids and husband and home have kept me so far on my toes I am considering a career in ballet. (Which I would never really be able to do.) So I changed the title of my blog. Yes, again. It's my blog, suppose I can do with it how I choose. Not that I wouldn't choose scrapbooking over the dishes and getting Jax down from the top of the piano for the millionth time. So reading everyone's blogs and checking up on my facebook is the only quiet time I have been getting for keep my sanity. And really 30 seconds is calling it close. Someone in my family is bound to find me hiding down here in the basement. Maybe 30 seconds is to generous. I have a ton of cute pictures of the kids from our mini-trip to Bend, Or. But I haven't even put them on the computer yet. Maybe tomorrow. Ok, realistic... maybe this weekend.

My kids are doing amazing, growing and changing faster than I am willing and ready for. Jax's vocab is getting bigger everyday. And he says 'peas' and 'thanks' most of the time with out encouragement. He is still obsessed with putting his hand in his pants, but now he does it from higher ground. I have near heart attacks everyday when I see he has climbing his way to newer heights.. say the kitchen counter or the top of the piano. I see emergency room visits in his future. And many of them.

Aydann can not wait the three weeks until dance class starts back again. She has stopped talking about preschool and everything is about dance. This year will be extra fun for her since Elise and Jordis are in her class. I can imagine now the grief those three may cause Shawna. I should just apologize now. :) Recital will be fun, all three of them dressed up together. We have spent a fair amount of time at the beach this year, and Aydann is the only one who has a decent tan going. How does that work. The pale albino red head is tanner than everyone else? She thinks her tan line is amazing and shows everyone will to see. I thought we had taught her some manners.

Justin's birthday is on Thur. And I have NO IDEA what to get him. He is impossible just like my dad. The two hardest people to shop for. So maybe he won't get anything. And the only things he will tell me that he wants are so unrealistic it's ridiculous. Maybe it will just be cake and ice cream this year.. Oh, there was the new porch light I was wanting.... :) Ok, just kidding...

Family Pics 2009

This year we had our family pic's taken later than I had wanted. But I am not complaining. We had someone who we consider a huge part of our lives take them. Tami Meyers (was Tami Shaw) Tami did our engagment pic's and our wedding photo's. And family pictures one year after Aydann was born. She was also our incrediable non stopping real estate agent when we bought our house. So we feel she has a special place in our family. And I LOVE THESE PICS.... Aydann was a major terd and wasn't very kind but Tami was able to get some darling shots of my toddler/preteen with an attitude... We wanted a variety of stuff so I could have lots of choices. What was I thinking, now I need a poll to help me choose which one I want to hang on the wall.

This is one of my favorites for our family wall pic.. I cant choose... (Help me!!!)
We took a little time out to play Duck Duck GOOSE!!!!I love this of Aydann, the only way we could get her to smile was to have her say "Beer Butt Chicken"

This is another one of my fav's for our family shot. Tami did such an amazing job, I cant pick on my own....
This is my last choice for the wall. I don't know if I want this one black n white, color or the sepia... man am I complaining about amazing pictures.. Guess I am. :)

Happy Birthday!!!!

Today was my little sister's 23rd birthday. I think this birthday was a little strange for her. But she spent part of the day with me so how bad could it be. :) Happy Birthday Wit. Love you!!!!

( I have neglected my blog, I know. Sorry! It's not so much that I haven't had much time, because I haven't. But that I really haven't felt like it. I have a millon pictures of the kids from all the fun stuff they have done, but I just don't feel up to loading them. Lazy I know. :) )

Mother's Day 2009

Aydann's First Recital...

You would have thought she was going for some beauty pagent rather than a dance recital. Aydann had a very good turn out of family that showed up to support her and watch her dance. Her daddy gave her flowers along with her grammy. But it was her Auntie Ash that went a bit out there with a sign and flowers with balloons. Aydann didn't hestitate for a second and soaked in all the attention. It was hilarious. She loved being on the stage dancing and I must say it was cute. All of the girls did a good job.
Justin had to work the day of observation and for the Dogwood Festival, so she was more than thrilled that Daddy was there. He brought her some very colorful gerber daisy's and she kept saying "did you love it daddy?" Broke my heart it was so sweet.. (P.S. My hubs has lost 24lbs, doesn't he look hot? :) )

Dress rehersal with her lil dance buddy Julie...

Aydann absolutly love Shawna...

The girls.. Aydann being silly waiting for their 'final bow' They did so good.

Excited to watch the other girls, she told everyone of them that walked near her "good luck" and "good job"

So Fresh and So Clean....

Talk about construction zone. I am so proud of Justin and so thankful to my Dad and B.I.L Nate for all their hard work. Our house seems so new and fresh. I love it. We arn't planning on painting until after the 4th of July. There are some other projects that Justin wants done first and we plan to spend a weekend or 2 camping. The warranty on our new siding requires that it be painted 180 days after instulation. So I'm not worried, and this primer is prettier than that awful yellow metal and cowpie rock anyway. In a few weeks we will have a new custom "Made by Scott" handrail and porch post's. :) I'm very excited, we used to have some pretty outdated iron thing. I wasn't a fan of it. The hardy shingles were a last minute idea of my dad's and Justin and I are thankful since we love them so much. The insulation was actually pretty simple to install Justin did it mostly himself with a bit of help from my sister and I. (Witney you Rock..) And the cost wasn't as scarey as I thought, plus we can tell a difference in the sound and temp control already. :) :)
The back seems more different to me than the front. I think because the old metal awning was so huge. We got a iron and fabric gazebo for our table and chairs so we have some shade when we eat outside. The kitchen window is much bigger now than it was, we opted to go larger for the natural light in the morning. And I can see more in the yard now. :) Since we got all new windows we have some trim work to do on the inside now and it won't be bad, we plan to do a room or two at a time.

No really !!!!

Wow, seems my blog is being seriously neglected. :) Well I suppose it could be for a good reason. I have pictures to post of all the work we have done on our house in the last week and of course pictures of the kids. Jax's first tooth just starting coming through. His gums are so swollen and just look like they hurt. He has been loving all the time outside. He is certainly a lil Justin! :) Aydann's first recital is on Thur at the college, she is SOOO excited. Her first one. She danced her tap number at the dogwood festival and now keeps talking about going back to the stage. Should I be scared? She loves dance class so much and adores Shawna. We went ahead and signed her up for fall. I have a feeling it's something I should just budget along with our bills from now till I dont know, high school? :) Tonight doesn't feel like a friday night since it's still before 10 and i am ready to crash for the night, we have another long day tomarrow putting blown in insulation in the outside four walls. And we only have one new window left to put in. The big one. I am loving my new doors. Still not painted of course only primered, but still much prettier than those old ugly things. (Anyone want them? :) ) As soon as Justin is back to work from vacation I will get all my pictures edited and ready for some posting.
